At Community Insurance Group, one of our specialties is insuring Volunteer Fire Departments (VFDs).

However, we don’t just specialize in insuring VFDs, we’re actively involved as volunteer firemen.

We’d like to introduce Ryan Goldschmidt (pictured above). Ryan is an insurance agent with Community Insurance Group. He’s also a volunteer fireman with the Fort Loramie Community Fire Company. The Fort Loramie Community Fire Company is a 100% volunteer fire department; it relies on community members like Ryan to keep the Fort Loramie community safe.

Ryan has been involved as a volunteer fireman since 2006. He was inspired to become certified as a fireman by his uncle, who is also actively involved as a volunteer fireman.

Regarding his involvement in the Fort Loramie VFD, Ryan says, “I really feel like this is something that is very meaningful to our community and it is a great way for me to give back to the community in a way I feel very few are able to give back. There is nothing more satisfying then helping a local family at their greatest time of need!”

We’re proud that Ryan is a member of the Community Insurance Group team. In addition to his expertise in insuring volunteer fire departments, Ryan also holds the Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) designation. Ryan attends continuing education courses for his insurance licences and his designation, as well as his certification as a volunteer firefighter, although the continuing education as a firefighter is, as he puts it, “Considerably more hands on.”

We welcome you to Contact Ryan today to discuss your needs for insuring volunteer fire departments, agribusiness or farms.
